Garth Brooks reappears in Vegas!

After the all-time hit and extremely popular singer Mr. Garth Brooks retired in the year 2000, nobody could have predicted that he would be coming out of retirement here in Las Vegas, in the year 2009. He has announced his decision to come out of retirement to sing in the Encore Theater of the Wynn Casino on weekends. He will be doing all his concerts solo, with just an acoustics guitar to accompany his own special voice that has made him the largest-selling solo artist of all time.

Although Mr. Brooks has expressed that he was unsure whether or not Mr. Wynn, the billionaire owner of the Wynn Casino was going to be able to afford him, the country music sensation was surprised to see that he could. Mr. Wynn has also provided Garth Brooks with a private jet to make the traveling from his home at Oklahoma to the casino in Las Vegas an easier trip. The prime reason for this arrangement being the same, for which he had retired nine years ago, that is to be with his three daughters and look after their schooling on the weekdays.

The shows will start from 11th December, 2009 but the tickets are already on sale from the 24th of October. Brooks will be playing in the Wynn Casino on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with each day hosting one show except on Saturdays, when there will be two performances from him. Regarding the time period of this contract, Mr. Brooks has been heard saying “My life is not going to change for the five years we are hoping to do this…”
